Questions,answered.
What can I make with Patchwork?
Anything flat: social media, presentations, posters, video, banners, logos, documents, invitations, menus, certificates and infographics. There are 66 templates to start from, or pick a size and begin with a blank page.
How do I get in?
Patchwork is in private beta. You’ll need an invite code to sign up.
How much does it cost?
Nothing during the private beta: there is nothing to pay for in Patchwork today.
What is the difference between Simple and Advanced?
Simple keeps every tool in a bar floating above whatever you have selected, so you never leave the canvas. Advanced moves them into a side panel with exact positions, sizes and spacing. Switch whenever you like; your design does not change.
Is my work saved?
Yes. Patchwork saves as you go, and your designs live in your account with folders and search.
Which formats can I export?
PNG, JPG, SVG and PDF, from half size up to four times. PNG can have a transparent background. Several pages download as a zip, or as one multi-page PDF.
Can I use my own pictures and fonts?
Yes. Upload JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF pictures up to 25 MB, and TTF or OTF fonts up to 10 MB. Pictures are re-encoded when they arrive, which removes their metadata.
Where do the elements come from?
Patchwork draws its own frames, badges, callouts and dividers. The rest of the 24,427 come from open collections whose licences allow it, and each one is credited on the elements page.
Who makes Patchwork?
AG Inc, the team behind Altare and Revenact.
